WSA-SMB is organized and managed by a board of directors. The board is responsible for setting strategies and overseeing the management of the club. It is responsible for providing direction and oversight of its key objectives, and oversees its operations.\ The board follows these four principles: 

• accountability
• transparency
• fairness
• responsibility

It is responsible for proposing club policy, bylaws and guideline changes, based on input from its members, or the needs of the organization. Once approved, the governing documents are updated as required.
