How to Light a Galley Stove and Prepare Meals on a Sailboat
Patricia Rose, WSASMB Cruise Chair, Chef and food blogger will share tips for cooking safely on a boat and provisioning secrets with our members. A stove/oven on a boat operates differently from the appliance in your kitchen. Patricia Rose will go through the steps on how to light them properly and safely.
About this month’s speaker:
Patricia Rose started her career in the world of advertising for McCall’s magazine then became the Western Advertising Director for LaCucina Italiana (US edition). While at McCall’s Patricia entered Culinary School and found that food was her passion.
Once completing culinary school Patricia began teaching cooking classes and catering large events. She has worked with some of the biggest in the business-like Wolfgang Puck on the Sony Pictures lot and at the Dolby Theatre; for Patina Catering at the Descanso botanical gardens.
WSA SMB is lucky to have Patricia serving as our Cruise chair. In this role she so generously shares her amazing culinary skills along with her talents of party planning.
